Review
I absolutely LOVED this book!!!
Quinn is a 20 year old girl who flew from Tennessee to California to live with her cousin Ginger, who is an aspiring actress that stars in a soap opera. Quinn decided to come live with Ginger in California because she felt like that all she was doing was causing trouble for her mother and father. Quinn is currently dealing with the loss of her high school sweetheart, Bash. On Quinn’s first night at Ginger’s house, Ginger decides that they should go out to a party because Quinn deserves a fun night out. At the party she meets a guy by the name of Chase Crowley. And little does she know that night changed everything for her. After that night, Chase tries getting in contact with Quinn, by calling her, even trying to get information from her cousin Ginger. She tries to push him away because she is feeling like she is betraying Bash. But Chase is persistent in getting to know Quinn better. I have to say I love a guy that has his mind set on something and will not take No as an answer. So after trying to avoid Chase, Quinn finally agrees on going out with Chase just once. What she doesn’t expect is for her to have such strong feelings for him after only meeting him recently. Will Quinn let Chace save her in her time of need? Or will she push him away?

My Dream Cast
Interview With The Author
What inspired you to write this book?
After years of writing high fantasy, I wanted to write a Hollywood romance. It was something different that I could relate to. It was fun to “dream” up a celebrity romance that felt real to me.
What is your favorite genre of book to read?
I am really into New Adult books right now.
Is there a dream cast that goes with The Last Thing?
From the beginning, Michael Trevino has always been my inspiration for Chase. Aimee Teagarden would be my Quinn. Ginger would be Emma Stone. Barrett has to be Chris Helmsworth. It took a long time to come up with Quinn’s character, but I really think Aimee has enough innocence to play her well.
Who is your favorite author to read?
I am obsessed with Colleen Hoover and Jay Crownover. Sexy writers who make me cry!
What made you want to become an author?
Writing has always been something I loved to do, even as a child. After years of being unable to find what my family called “a real career,” I decided to just go with my gut and write.
When you are not writing, What do you do?
I love to watch TV and relax. I have three kids and a husband as well so most of my time not writing is spent with them.
