She’s the one woman I can’t have.
She threatens everything, and yet I can’t stay away. There’s a beautiful, sexual creature inside this timid girl that’s desperate to claw its way out. I’m going to set it free, even if it brings my empire tumbling down.
I have to believe she’ll be worth all the little mistakes I’ve made
She smiled knowingly. “You should know, I’m used to getting my way.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.” Her statement felt like a challenge and I couldn’t let it go. “Put your hand in your lap and touch yourself.”
“What?” Her mouth fell open.
“I’m not going to repeat myself when we both know you heard me.”
The air heated and crackled with intensity, swirling around us. Would she obey my first command as my submissive?
Her shoulder shifted hesitantly, and I felt hot on the back of my neck. She was doing as told.
“No,” I snapped, when her gaze darted away, checking to see if anyone was watching. “Eyes stay on me. It’s my responsibility that you don’t get caught.”
The outer rim of her irises were a soft, celery green, giving way to tan just before her dark pupils, that dilated now. I pictured her fingertips below her dress, rubbing herself over her panties.
The corner of my mouth tugged upward. “Do you like being a bad girl for me?”
Her chest rose and fell with her rapid breathing, her gaze fixed on mine. She nodded.
“Are you getting wet? Is your tight, little cunt aching for my mouth?”
She jolted. “I don’t like that word.”
“Are you telling me that’s a limit? Pull your underwear to the side and get your fingers in there.”
She swallowed a breath and blinked rapidly. The war inside her head was visible in her beautiful eyes. The want to give in, versus the desire to stay appropriate. If things were different, I’d train her so her want to submit would become need.
Her bicep flexed subtly. Power flared and burned in my veins. Now I pictured her finger sliding inside her body.
“It’s not a limit,” she said, her voice tight. “I just don’t care for it. It’s vulgar.”
“Says the girl fingering herself in a crowded restaurant.” I finished the last bite of my dinner. “Go faster.”
Air was sucked in through her parted lips. She wouldn’t come like this. Not sitting up, with other people around, and from penetration alone. But, goddamn, it was hot as sin watching her.
“I want that to be my cock that’s fucking you right now.” I wanted it with every cell in my miserable body. “Do you want that?”
“Yes.” Her dinner had been abandoned. Her other hand clutched the edge of the table.
“Yes, Sir,” I corrected.
Her eyes hooded. “Yes, Sir.”
And . . . I was hard as steel. Fuck.
“Stop,” I commanded. “Keep your hand exactly where it is.”
Puzzlement flooded her eyes, and quickly turned to anxiety when the waiter appeared tableside.
“How is everything?” he asked, his attention on Noemi as he cleared my plate.
She had no choice but to answer. “It’s great.” Her strained voice was enjoyable.
“Are you all finished?” He gestured to her plate, and she nodded quickly. “Any dessert this evening?”
“No, just the check, please,” I answered. He was gone a moment later and her tight shoulders relaxed, but I wasn’t ready to release her just yet. “Put your fingers in your mouth and clean them off.”
“Oh, God,” she whispered, both nervous and excited.
Her hand came up quickly, darting to her mouth, but not fast enough. I’d seen the moisture there. She sank them in her mouth, closed her lips around the first knuckles, and drew them out slowly. Like her meal had been so good, she wanted to lick every last trace from her hand.
“Have you tasted yourself before?”
She flushed, broke the gaze, and looked guilty. “Yes.”
“Look at me.” The edge in my voice was dark, and it came out just a little louder than I wanted it to. If we’d been alone, I would have delivered a physical, negative reinforcement, but I couldn’t do anything from across the table. “Yes, Sir, my filthy girl.”
PAGE TURNERS FIVE STAR REVIEW
This story was so sexy and suspenseful that I could not wait until all the secrets were revealed. Joseph was a man that needed control in all things. His business, his life and in his bedroom. Joseph was the owner of a sex club and he enjoyed matching the clientele with the women. He liked the power that brought him. Noemi was a good girl. She always played by the rules set forth by her father and did her best to never cause any scandal. Remember the brand. Even good girls want to come out and play and this was the case for Noemi when she met Joseph at his dance club. Joseph was everything she fantasized about from his good looks to his dirty mouth. The chemistry between these two was scorching hot and some scenes were so delicious. Of course, there was always secrets that threatened to destroy their new relationship and sometimes you have to fight for what you want. This was such an enjoyable book with two strong characters and just the right mix of sex and suspense. This was my first time to read anything from this author but it will not be my last.

Excerpt“Did you know he was accepted at Harvard Law School when he was only eighteen years old? I was highly impressed when I read all about it,” Clarke said, pouring hot water into our mugs. I pulled out a teaspoon from the drawer and took the milk out of the small fridge. “Who? God’s gift to women?” I scoffed, pouring full-fat milk into my tea. The only reason I looked up from the milk carton was because it went quiet. When I turned, just as I dreaded, Parks was standing with arms crossed in the doorway wearing his black suit ensemble and an inward, amused smirk. Clarke cleared an imaginary lump from his throat, picked up his tea cake and mug, then scuttled from the room, leaving me. Shit house. “Hi.” He smirked. His green eyes were bright and amused as they watched me. I quickly turned my back, placed the carton of milk back in the fridge, and said fuck under my breath for getting caught. “So you think I’m God’s gift to women?” Oh God, he heard me. I tried to hide my smirk by biting my lip as I turned to face him. “No. That’s what you think you are.” “Perhaps you are God’s gift to me?” I laughed at his ridiculous attempt to sweeten me up. “I am not a gift to you, Parks. And if I was a gift, it sure as hell wouldn’t be from God.” His eyes narrowed briefly as if he were afflicted. “Evelyn, I notice you have an incredible inferiority complex.” I blinked at his vocabulary. “Come again?” He sighed in a way that indicated my obliviousness was adorable to him. “You have low self-esteem.” “I do not,” I shot back, extremely defensive because that’s what I did. I couldn’t take compliments or criticism. “Why are you even in here?” I glanced around the room. “Don’t you have Jittery Joanna to run around after you?” His green eyes stared at me for a second as though he was trying to figure out who I was referring to. Then he chuckled and pinched the bridge of his nose. It made me laugh, because seeing God’s gift smile was surprisingly refreshing; he completely lit up. “Jittery Joanna is on her break, and as I watched your fine physique strut in here, I felt obliged to follow.” Proving he liked what he saw, his insatiable gaze lowered down the length of my curvaceous body dressed in a tight-fitted black dress. “Really? You don’t seem the sheep type to me.” “Trust me, I am not the sheep, Evelyn, but the wolf. I always take the last bite.” Oh. “Looks like you’re out of luck. Clarke just had the last tea cake.” I took a long sip of my tea as he watched me thoughtfully. I knew damn well he wasn’t talking about pastries. But I wasn’t going to be subjected to his dirty-minded ways. Even if my body was telling me to get sucked in, my sensible mind was telling me otherwise, and I had learned to listen to my head. “What about your cake, Evelyn?” I almost spat out my tea. “My cake it out of the question, Parks. Besides, it’s not even my birthday.” I hid my grin childishly, mentally thanking Rihanna for that line. “Hm,” he growled, taking a short step towards me, getting intimately close to my body. He gently took the warm mug from my hand and placed it behind me. My breathing was on hold, and my eyes were glued to his green, hooded irises. I could smell the devouring essence of men’s cologne. It was a burst of freshness along with strong masculinity. Desperately I wanted to push him away, but before I could, his face was inches away from mine, his cool breath against my lips. I’m not sure if it was consciously, but I could taste the watermelon juice he always sipped on his lips. I wasn’t fond of watermelon, but right then, I craved the taste. He brushed the tip of his thumb across my jaw and spread his fingers out across my cheek. “Is your cake moist now, Evelyn? Would you prefer it iced?” He spoke in a low, husky voice that tickled my lips. His tone commanded my nerve endings to stand to attention like their sergeant major had arrived. Shit. He was a charming, expert, arrogant arse who could most certainly make my cake moist—and he did. Even so, he wasn’t having a slice of me.

This is book one in the series and I am blown away and need book two
ASAP. Evey was an intense woman being pulled in several directions and
not handling any of them. Wade was Evey’s boss and after one glance at
Evey, he is strongly attracted to her and wants to make her his own. This
begins a sexy game of cat and mouse between these two. They give into
their feelings but Evey is still dealing with issues from her past and this
makes her pull away after each encounter. Wade is determined to have
her in his life but he is not aware of the demons that haunt her. This was a
strong and powerful romance with moments of heartache and the ending
was unexpected. I look forward to reading more about these characters
and where this story is headed.

TO BE ADDED
I’ve never been one for thinking things through, and I’m still not. I’ll never be anything other than an animal of instinct, but this time my instincts are a slow burn, rather than a hot wave. I know how to sweep a girl off her feet, make the grand gesture minutes after meeting her, batter her defenses and ravage her like a whirlwind, but something inside of me is telling me to take it slow with Gemma.
I’m not even sure what it is that’s drawn me to her so relentlessly. It was easy just a few short weeks ago. All I could think about was her round ass, the way her tits bounced and moved, how her neck tasted like the finest delicacy. I still think about those things – how could I forget how hot she is? But it’s different now.
The things she’s said to me are what I think about the most. And it’s the captivating way she reacts to me that makes me want more of her. The fact that despite being an absolute fucking mess for half the time I’ve known her, she’s retained a dignity and strength that’s made me admire her.
I slide the bike into a private parking lot, the booth officer nodding me through – I’m easily recognizable; there aren’t many high-profile stars who ride motorcycles with hot chicks on the back.
I step off the bike and look at Gemma. There’s a soft breeze blowing her skirt against her legs, giving me little fleeting reminders of how sensational her body is.

PAGE TURNERS FOUR STAR REVIEW
This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed this one much more. There was a more emotional connection in this story between Gemma and Dylan. They both finally get past the image they portray to the world and get real with each other. Dylan is riding high in all aspects of his life. His career is top notch and his relationship is building with Gemma. That all changes with issues in his past resurface and it knocks Dylan for a loop. The world folds in on him and he struggles to survive. Gemma never loses sight of the real person Dylan is. She believes in him at his lowest. Now she must help him see the man that she knows him to be. This was a good story with lots of drama and reactions and of course that hot sexual connection. It was the perfect companion to book one.

I see the world differently than everyone else, I feel everything differently and I reflect on life differently. And being different in my world is not a good thing. I live in a place that’s divided between the rich and the poor, the beautiful and the unbeautiful, the prestigious and the mediocre. I have always belonged in the first category, because my father was the Governor of Georgia.
Growing up around people I could never relate with, my life had always been lonely, that was until my senior year when I met the one boy who would change my life forever. A boy who my parents would never approve of because he didn’t come from money or the same social class. He rode a motorcycle, had tattoos and was considered to be from the wrong side of the tracks. Yet he was still envied by many.

And for the first time in my life I finally felt like I belonged. When I was with him, my different didn’t feel wrong or ugly. He made me feel beautiful- insightfully beautiful. Then one day my world came crashing down on me, and it would be six years before I'd once again see the boy I fell in love with.
Ryder Jameson ~ After working my ass off I am given the opportunity of a lifetime, and if I pull it off I will be the youngest FBI agent to run one of the biggest undercover operations in history. Only the case that gets thrown in front of me leads me back to the one place I swore I would never return to, and to the only girl who’s ever mattered to me.
Except Emily Michaels is not the same girl I left behind. She still looks the same, she’s still beautiful inside and out, but there’s one thing that’s very different about her, one very big thing, and it’s something I didn’t think was possible.
Ryder and I come from a world where politics separates us and wealth defines us, but even after all this time we will not let it divide us. Here is our story.

FIVE STAR REVIEW
If this is book one in the Acts of Honor series then it is off to an amazing start. This book was hard to put down from the first page to the last. The journey that Anna and Logan had to take to find their happily ever after was full of twists and surprises but not once did their love for each other falter. Even after years of being separated it only took one look, one touch to reunite their devotion to each other. Anna thought she had lost Logan forever. He was serving time for an unfortunate crime and he refused to see her. Now years later he is back and working to solve an illegal fighting ring and he is back to claim what is his. Logan never forgot about Anna. She was his whole life and he does not regret his decision to distance himself but he knows he cannot survive another minute without her. I love this story! This story is well written and even though it is a romance there is a bit of suspense and drama added in. The perfect blend of everything good in a story. I loved it and I recommend it to everyone.

“No, no, no, no!” I beat my steering wheel with the heel of my hand. “No! You’ve got to be kidding me!” I pulled off the road, my tire bumping along.
I put my car in park and climbed out to assess the damage.
My feet crunched on the gravel scattered alongside the road.
Immediately, the oily burnt smell of my peeling tire met me.
Calling this a flat tire didn’t do it justice. This was complete and utter carnage.
I looked behind me, at the trail of tire pieces leading straight to my car, like a path of breadcrumbs.
It was starting to get dark and this wasn’t exactly the safest road.
I was also a twenty-year-old girl, ripe for the picking.
I kicked the side of my car. “I don’t have time for this!”
I stalked around the back, to the trunk, lifting it and looking for the necessary tools to change a tire.
Which was pointless because, unfortunately, I didn’t know the first thing about changing a tire. My father had made sure that I only knew how to do a woman’s work.
I slammed the trunk closed and stalked back to the driver’s side, pulling at the ends of my hair. I glared at the offending nail, that had to be four inches long, sticking out of the tire. How many nails did people drive over a day and I was the one to get a flat freakin’ tire?
Not at all.
I opened the door and reached for my phone to call my roommate to come pick me up.
The sky was darkening and I didn’t want to be stranded here.
I wrapped my lightweight jacket tighter around my body, as the wind gusted around me, blowing leaves off of the nearby trees. I watched the red, yellow, and orange leaves fall down and scatter over my car. One, unfortunately, got caught in my hair. I reached up and pulled it out before letting it drift to the ground.
Gravel crunched behind me. I turned quickly, to see a guy getting out of a black car that looked like something old, but classic.
I hadn’t even heard him pullover.
I backed a step away, thinking he might be a murderer, or a rapist.
But when I got a look at his face I was stunned.
He was tall, with a lean body, but muscular. He had short, dark brown, almost black, hair and the greenest eyes I had ever seen. Five o’ clock shadow covered his cheeks and chin. My eyes trailed down, over the white t-shirt glued to his chest, and stopped there. I could see black ink underneath the white shirt and licked my lips. The fact that he had tattoos only made him hotter. To protect against the cold, he was wearing a long-sleeved plaid shirt.
“Uh—can I help you?” He asked, smiling pleasantly at me, and putting my earlier fears about him being a murderer or rapist completely to rest.
Help? With what? I needed help?
He grinned crookedly, tilting his head. “With your tire. Do you need some help?”
He had the deepest, huskiest, voice I had ever heard. I shivered at the sound. I was pretty sure I’d be happy for him to help me with a lot of things, and none of them included my tire.
“Help would be great,” I blushed, ducking my head.
He chuckled. “You do have a spare, right?”
“Yeah, it’s in the trunk,” I pointed, like he didn’t know where the trunk was.
He grabbed the spare, and all the necessary tools and sat down, next to the ruined tire.
“I—uh—would’ve changed it myself, but—uh—my dad never taught me,” I ran my fingers nervously through my wavy brown hair. “He said something about it not being appropriate for a girl to do and if I ever got a flat tire, I better hope Prince Charming came along. My dad’s very—uh—old fashioned,” I stammered.
He looked up at me. “Does that make me Prince Charming?” He grinned.
“Oh—uhm—Prince Charming is fictional, so I guess not, and he-uh-usually rides a white horse or something… I think.”
Somebody, stamp AWKWARD across my forehead already.
The guy threw his head back and laughed. “I guess a shiny black '69 Camaro doesn’t count as a white horse. You watch a lot of Disney movies or something?”
“No,” I blushed tomato red. “At least not anymore.”
“You’re funny,” he squinted up at me, shielding his eyes from the orange glow of the setting sun.
“I hope that’s a good thing,” I muttered. Unfortunately, I wasn’t trying to be funny.
“It’s a very good thing-” He paused, waiting for my name.
“Oh—uh—Olivia. Olivia Owens.”
“I’m Trace,” he reached a hand up to me and I took it. It was warm and calloused, swallowing mine whole. “Trace Wentworth,” he grinned when my hand jerked at his touch.

Beth had been good at pretending to be this happy carefree girl – bubbly and energetic. Looking at her now, I saw a girl who was anything but carefree. She obviously had demons that haunted her, and I knew from experience that fighting certain demons can be almost impossible.
I listened through the door, making sure Lily had gone. “This isn’t over. Me keeping your secret from Lily is not a sign I’m letting this go. It’s a sign that I’m going to be a thorn in your side until you let me help you.”
Beth prickled at my comment and unfurled herself from the protective ball she had curled into. “I don’t need your help!”
“Yes, you do.” I took another step towards her. Beth took a step back. “And the way I see it, you don’t have much of a choice.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Do you want Lily to know what you’ve been doing?”
Beth’s eyes pooled with unshed tears. She looked hurt by my words. “Please don’t tell Lily,” she pleaded in a whisper.
“I’ll tell her everything unless you let me help you.” The look of fear and disbelief on Beth’s face made me feel like a total jackass.
Her expression changed again. She glowered at me like she wanted to set me on fire. “I hate you so much right now.”
Her words, she meant them. And hearing her tell me she hated me… it hurt, because somewhere along the way I had fallen in love with her.
“I know you do. But I’d rather you hate me for the right reasons, than like me for the wrong ones. I guess we’ll both have to figure out how to fucking live with that.”
My ReviewThis story turned out to be more than I expected and I loved it. Beth is struggling with her eating disorder and Hayden shows his support and love for Beth and you can feel how much he cares for her. Hayden is also taking care of his stepsister and her mother. Hayden is possibly the nicest man I have ever read about. He gives everything to his family and his friends and deserves to be loved as much as he loves. This was an incredible book with a topic that could be heavy but it was dealt with in a tender and understanding way that touched your heart.
About The Author
I grew up in Alabama and have always been an avid reader. I had a stack of those Little Golden Books and I can remember reading Three Little Kittens over and over and over again. It was my favorite.
Fast forward and the older I got the more in love with books I became. So, I'm admitting that I am a huge nerd. The only reading I don't like are those math word problems. And I'm okay with that because no one has ever asked me in real life... "If I give you two bananas and take away six apples, how long will it take the southbound train to collide with the northbound train if Johnny left his house at midnight?" It just doesn't happen.
So, yeah, books are my thing.
Oh and music. All kinds. Love.It.
