FOUR STAR REVIEW
I loved this story. I was hooked from the very beginning and was in awe at the ending. Saturday divides her work between being a museum tour guide and bartender but her real passion is for painting. She longs to see her paintings hanging in the museum. One day at a farmers market, Saturday is intrigued by the voice of a mysterious man on a cell phone. She drops some vegetables and the mysterious man helps her to collect them. When she turns to thank him he is gone. Later they meet again and their attraction to each other grows. Mark expertly manages to keep certain details about himself and his life from Saturday. This only adds to the suspense of the story. Who is Mark and what does he do for a living? What is his endgame with Saturday? Not everything is as it seems. I loved this book because it kept you guessing what was coming next and just when you think you have solved the mystery everything changes. I cannot wait to read more of Saturday and Mark.
FOUR STAR REVIEW
This is book two in the series and the story picks back up with Saturday and Mark but now Axe has come into the picture. Saturday was having a hard time not comparing the two men. Axe was a good man but Mark was the one that owned her heart whether Saturday would admit it or not. This story answered so many questions from the first book and it held just as many surprises. We delved deeper into her relationships with her friends, Jay and Kara. Kara was very much a surprise to me. I love when books take you somewhere you did not expect. Saturday really learned more about herself and what she wanted in her life. Mark was still the expert at disappearing but there were legitimate reasons this time. Overall it was a great story and I recommend it to anyone looking for romance with a big dose of suspense.
